'Asleep & Awake' actor gets hospitalized due to road accident

Iran actor and director Mehdi Fakhimzadeh goes to hospital after a severe road accident.

The famed actor/director Fakhimzadeh had a collision Wednesday with a motorbike while on his bike in northern part of the country.

Due to the road accident, the cineaste was transferred to the hospital for medical care.

It is said that Fakhimzadeh has been working on his new cinematic project 'The Final Fist' when the accident took place.

News about his health condition is yet to be confirmed. Khosrow Amir-Sadeghi, a close friend of the cineaste, expressed concern over his health.

This is while the producer of 'The Final Fist' Hamed Hosseini has eased fears, saying he is in good health.
